Finance Assistant - Maternity Cover (1766)



Finance Assistant 

An engineering/manufacturing client based in the Dunfermline area have an immediate requirement for an experienced finance assistant for maternity cover.
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will work closely with the Assistant Accountant, you will be able to hit the ground running with a "Can Do Attitude", able to cover a range of financial tasks and liaise with with managers and staff across the business.
This position requires working to tight timescales and under minimal supervision, able to work under pressure with the ability to change from one task to another.
  • Expenses processing, Credit Card & Travel Card including foreign currencies.
  • Petty cash control & reconciliation.
  • Travel card control and issue 
  • Daily Bank transaction processing
  • Purchase ledger matching to PO`s & GRN`s
  • ERP processing of purchase ledger
  • ERP processing of sales ledger
  • Order book maintenance 
  • Cash/Bank reconciliation (including currencies)
  • Weekly payroll, spreadsheet completion from time-sheets, includes overtime, site times and liaising with site staff and managers to get the correct hours
  • Payment runs
  • Deal with supplier calls regarding queries and payments
