Our client, operating across Scotland, is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Account Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business supplying high-quality products and solutions to a varied customer base.

The Nitty Gritty:

As a Technical Sales Account Manager, you’ll be:

• Managing and developing a portfolio of key accounts across your territory.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with customers through regular face-to-face meetings.
• Identifying new business opportunities and growing sales within existing accounts.
• Preparing and delivering presentations on products, services and tailored solutions.
• Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and recording all activity within CRM.
• Responding to customer enquiries promptly and providing a high level of service.
• Attending meetings, networking events and site visits where required.
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Travelling throughout Scotland as part of the role.

• Permanent, full-time position with an established business.
• Salary starting from £45,000, plus bonus structure.
• Company car provided.

• Ideal for someone from an engineering background looking to move into sales, or an experienced Account Manager with a technical or engineering background.
• Previous experience managing client accounts is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Confident building relationships and working independently across a territory.
• Driven, ambitious and comfortable working to sales targets.
• Must hold a clean, full driving licence.

Hours:

• 37.5 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday.

Pay:

• Salary starting from £45,000 per annum.
• Bonus structure available.
