Forklift Driver/Stores

Our client, who are a manufacturing company based in Coatbridge in Lanarkshire, are a global leader in their market, require a forklift driver/stores person to join their team.

You will have a background in the manufacturing or warehousing industry and an ability to use a basic computer system.  Full training will be given and this role is a temporary contract initially with a view to becoming a permanent role.

It is essential that you have your own counterbalance forklift licence which requires to be in date.

If you have a reach forklift licence this would be beneficial but not essential.

This is not merely a forklift role and experience with expensive parts and the ability to work in a fast paced environment would be an advantage.

Hours of Work:

Mon-Thurs- 6.30am – 3.30pm

Fri – 6.30am – 2.15pm

40 hours per week

Rate of Pay:

Initially £12/hr and this will increase once you are on a permanent contract and go through the many stages of learning.
