Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Our client based in the South West of Glasgow are looking for a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to add to their team working with Ground Support Equipment in the aerospace industry.  This is a permanent role and it will be based in Glasgow.  A drivers licence are key to this role as driving to other facilities in the UK or clients will be required.

Role: 

Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

• Working with a variety of aerospace companies carrying out maintenance on all the ground support equipment that is required to ensure the safety of aircraft and passengers, from landing on the tarmac to its next take off.
• This role will cover a variety of equipment including cargo loading and unloading equipment, vehicles used to support the ground staff, hydraulic systems for pressurising, amongst other duties.
• The role will cover replacing of any parts, stripping down, re-assembly to rectify worn or damaged parts.

A van with all tools and PEE will be provided.

Hours:

Mon-Fri 7.30am-4pm

Money:

£45k basic salary for this dayshift role
